The Lava X2 was launched in India on Friday. The X series
smartphone will be a special online offering from the company. Lava says the
smartphone is the first smartphone in the series, and is specifically designed
to cater to the needs of budget consumers. The smartphone is packed with
features such as a 6.5-inch HD + IPS display, fingerprint scanner and face
opener for biometric authentication, and a 5,000mAh battery.
Lava X2 price, availability
The price of Lava X2 is set at Rs. 6,999, however, is available
for pre-booking at a discounted price of Rs. 6,599 in Amazon until March 11,
the company said. According to Amazon’s list, the smartphone is offered with
two color options: Blue and Cyan. Lava says this special Amazon model was
introduced keeping in mind the customer buying pattern, which shifts to
commerce. The phone will also be available for purchase at Lava in store.
Details of Lava X2
The dual-SIM Lava X2 has a large 6.5-inch HD + IPS display
with a 20: 9 aspect ratio and a waterdrop style notch. The smartphone is
powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio SoC encrypted with 2GB of RAM and 32GB
of storage. By taking pictures, the phone gets a dual rear camera setting with
an 8-megapixel main sensor. There is a 5-megapixel front camera for photos taken
with video calls.
The Lava X2 packs a 5,000mAh battery. Provides background
fingerprint scanner and face opener to ensure biometric. Handset connectivity
options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, 3.5 mm audio jack, USB Type-C charging
port and OTG support. According to Amazon’s list, the smartphone measures
165x76x9mm, and weighs 192 grams.
